2024-2025 Procedures
Drop-Off Procedures (Morning)
ARRIVAL: Doors unlock at 8:45 AM and the tardy bell rings at 9:00 AM.
DROP-OFF:
- Drop-off is on Wallace Avenue and students will enter through the cafeteria door (look for the ramp and large windows). Please wait until your vehicle is at the sidewalk to let your child out of the car. Staff will be on the sidewalk on Wallace Avenue to help unload students as needed.
- Please do NOT park on the school side of Wallace Avenue in the morning.
- If you wish to walk your student to the door, please park on Maplewood Drive or Ohio Avenue as there will be a constant flow of cars.
Pick-up Procedures (Afternoon)
DISMISSAL: Walkers/pick-ups are dismissed at 3:25 PM. Bus riders are dismissed as their buses arrive beginning at 3:25 PM.
CAR PICK-UP:
- Cars should use Maplewood to turn onto Wallace and get in the queue on the school-side of the street.
- Each family will receive a colored student name sheet. Please make sure that the name sheet is visible to the “traffic directors” by putting it on the dashboard or holding it up in the window.
- Please stay in the car
- Watch for “traffic directors,” as they will often have you pull forward to the next empty area in order to keep the line moving.
WALKER PICK UP:
- Walkers/pick-ups are dismissed at 3:25 PM. Bus riders are dismissed as their buses arrive beginning at 3:25 PM.
- Line up in a single file line to the right side of the cafeteria exit ramp (the side under the tall trees). Please stand close to the grass as we need to keep the curb portion of the sidewalk clear for car pick ups.
- Hold up your colored student name sheet(s).
